Ideally, there should be 4 feet from the ground level to the bottom of the screen and 1 foot from the top of the ceiling to the top of the screen.

Step 2: Calculate the Distance to the Farthest Viewer
Next, find the farthest viewer in the room. For a conference room that is 28 feet deep, you’ll want to leave some space (like 4 feet, at least) for aisles around the room.
Example: The farthest viewer distance would be 28 Feet – 4 Feet = 24 Feet.
Step 3: Calculate the Optimal Screen Height
The optimal screen height can be calculated using the distance to the farthest viewer divided by 6.
Example: If the farthest viewer distance is 24 Feet, the optimal screen height would be 24 / 6 = 4 Feet.
Step 4: Compare and Decide the Screen Height
Compare the optimal screen height to the maximum screen height. If the optimal screen height is smaller than the maximum screen height, use the optimal screen height measurement. If the optimal screen height is larger than the maximum screen height, use the maximum screen height measurement.
